Coach Halley Crandell started teaching dance at Whitney High School In 2012. She received a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in dance from Sacramento State University. In addition, she obtained a Masters in Teaching from National University. Crandell was a dancer for the Sacramento State Dance Team and danced in a variety of productions in the Sacramento State dance department. Crandell became an Instructor for National Dance Alliance (NDA) in 2008 and later had an opportunity to judge at Regional Competitions. Mrs. Crandell is very honored to be teaching the talented dancers at Whitney High School and looks forward to a successful year.
Coach Mallory Teresa started teaching dance at Whitney High School in 2016. She received a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Psychology from William Jessup University. In addition, she obtained her teaching credential from Brandman University. Teresa first fell in love with dance at the age of 3 and has been trained in a variety of styles. She has taught local high school students since 2009 in many capacities including as a choreographer for dance shows, dance teams, and musicals, a long-term substitute for high school dance teachers, and a dance team coach. Ms. Teresa loves teaching and coaching at WHS and is excited for a great year!
